Privacy Policy
Ballpark collects nothing. There is no account, no analytics, and no server to send anything to.
Last updated 27 July 2026.
What we collect
Nothing. Ballpark has no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, no advertising identifier, and no telemetry of any kind. We do not know who you are, that you installed the app, or that you opened it.
Your documents
The documents you write are plain text files stored on your device, in Ballpark's own folder. You can see them in the Files app under On My iPhone → Ballpark. They are never uploaded, transmitted, or read by us.
If you delete Ballpark, iOS deletes those files with it. Copy anything you want to
keep out of the app first — they are ordinary .txt files and will open
anywhere.
Settings
Your preferences — the interval convention, sample count and appearance — are stored on your device using the system's standard preferences store. They never leave it.
Purchases
Ballpark Pro is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Apple handles the entire transaction. We never see your name, your payment details, or your Apple Account. All Ballpark receives from Apple is a yes-or-no answer to "has this device purchased Ballpark Pro?"
Apple's handling of that transaction is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy, not this one.
Network access
Ballpark makes no network requests of its own. The calculations run entirely on your device, offline, including when you have no signal. The only network activity is Apple's own, when you make or restore a purchase.
Children
Ballpark is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages. Since it collects no data whatsoever, it collects no data from children either.
Third parties
Ballpark bundles no third-party SDKs. Nothing you type is shared with anyone, because nothing you type ever leaves your device.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of Ballpark ever collects anything — for example, if optional iCloud sync is added — this page will be updated before that version ships, and the app will ask before syncing anything.
